OUR SERVICES

Mr Bullbar not only performs selected task ordered by client but specializes in quality finishing and manufacturing of industry related products. Below is a detailed listed process of our products as they get manufactured, finished, assembled and fitted to your vehicle.

Materials Used on your finished item

When constructing a purchased item for your vehicle it is important that we collect all the vital information from the customer in order to manufacture the item correctly. Once measurements are taken and product details like coloursĀ  etc, we start with the manufacturing process. All materials obtained for your purchase are checked for flaws before commencing with the cutting and welding process.

Assembly and Machinery

Once the raw material enters the production line, it undergoes a series of tests as it passes each production section. First the material enters a cleaning process which prevents and stops any corrosion process before manufacturing commences. Thereafter cutting of all material and Components is done. We then mock assemble the Components and tag weld the Components in place after which solid welding with a Mig welder is done.

Once the welding of all Components is finished, the accessories are temporarily fitted and assemble and checked for flaws once again. All Components are then dis-assembled and then sent to the next production phase.

Anti-Corrosive treatment

The semi-constructed item undergoes an extensive cleaning process which remove dirt and grime followed by a primer application. The primer seals the unit as well as its accessories and prevents any corrosion or rust build up on the items in the future. The next step is the colour application.

Colour application

The colour application is a POWDER COATING process. Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. This making the finishing effect more durable in the bush and off-road.

We powder coat a range of colours which includes black, silver, gun-metal and now chrome silver. The client has a choice of these colours at different price ranges.

Assembly Preparations and shipping.

When the manufactured item has completed it's manufacturing process, the finished products ends up at the scrutinizing bay and is thoroughly inspected for faults and damage. Once the item has passed scrutinizing, it is then bubble wrapped and loaded off at the couriers. If the client wishes to have the item fitted to the vehicle, professional installers are ready to take the task at hand. Once the item is fitted, the guarantee is given to the client and the client then receives basic information as to the care and maintenance of their new items.
